Hi, I’m Sarah, the designer and printer here at Sarah and Maude, and Maude is my trusty antique print press. Together we're all about crafting exquisite letterpress stationery for clients just like you.

Think of me as your personal stationer, ready to swoon over fonts, obsess over paper, and dream up show-stopping designs. I’m here to walk you through the process and ensure it’s easy and enjoyable – and there are no silly questions, so ask as many as you like.

What to expect when you work with Sarah and Maude

You set the pace

The most important part of the process is you. Whether you’re planning your wedding or printing your very first business cards, I’ve been where you are and I know it can feel overwhelming. I want you to enjoy the process and have the time you need to make the right decisions, so I work with you, at your pace.

Truly handcrafted

Letterpress and hot foil are traditional artisanal processes, so printing with Maude and Martha is slow and meticulous. Each piece of stationery is printed one at a time, with paper fed into the presses by hand, piece by piece, and each colour printed separately. It’s a definite labour of love – and the results are always rewarding.

A touch of luxury

Because your stationery is designed and printed in my Derbyshire studio, I can tailor every detail to perfection. From the tactile impression of letterpress, to the subtle shimmer of metallic foil, and an endless choice of finishing touches, your stationery will have a luxury finish that you won’t be able to resist running your fingers over.

A note on sustainability

I love stationery and I love our planet, so it’s only natural that I want to feel good about the work that I create and the process that goes into making it.

When I’m designing your stationery I consider its full life cycle – carefully sourcing the materials I use to print it, so it’s easily recyclable or compostable. Stationery can be sustainable, and sustainable can look amazing!
