Taking a gentler approach

calm and collaborative

Working with you, at your pace

I share my studio with a foot-operated antique press, so it’s probably no surprise that I take a gentler, individual approach to the creative process. I want you to have the time you need to make the right decisions, and to have an enjoyable experience. So I work with you, at your pace.

What does that mean? Well, I only take on a handful of clients at a time, so I can give you (and your stationery) my full attention and ensure the process is calm and enjoyable for both of us. When you work with me there’s always time for questions (preferably over Zoom with a cuppa), and you’ll never be rushed to make decisions. You’ll have time to chat through your ideas and time to review designs, so that you’re happy with everything before we even think about printing. And you never need to apologise for taking a little longer than planned to reply to an email.

“Keep planting and sowing, living and knowing beautiful things take time, and that is ok.”

Morgan Harper Nichols

Conscious and mindful

Honouring a traditional craft process

At the heart of my creative process is a traditional hands-on craft. Each time I step behind the press I’m reminded of the conscious decision I made a decade ago, to print slowly and mindfully in limited runs. Forget mass production, for me it’s always been about quality over quantity, and that will never change.

If calm creativity and handcrafted quality make your heart sing I might just be the stationer for you.
