Semi-custom letterpress stationery for your wedding day
The Sarah and Maude House Collection offers a series of meticulously designed wedding stationery suites, easily tailored to suit the style and colour palette of your wedding day.
Effortlessly elegant
Save the dates, invitations and on-the-day stationery
With the House Collection it’s easy to create beautiful wedding stationery that you can’t wait to share.
Designed for couples who embrace a less is more style, the six House Collection suites offer a range of invitation and on-the-day pieces. And they’re designed to be personalised – change the wording, choose your ink and envelope colours, add a monogram or foil accent, or maybe include a vellum wrap with a wax seal.
All designs are letterpress or foil printed with the help of my antique presses, Maude and Martha. And printing with the finest papers will give your invitations and on-the-day stationery that wonderful pillowy soft texture that’s unique to traditional printing.

The design and print process
Creating your semi-custom wedding stationery
Creating your wedding stationery is an exciting part of the planning process but there’s a lot to think about. So, from our very first chat to the moment you hold your finished prints in your hands, I’m here to make it a breeze.
-
The best place to start is with a look through the House Collection. There are six designs to choose from, and each can easily be customised with your choice of ink and envelope colours, print finishes, and finishing touches.
-
If you’ve fallen head over heels with a design and are ready to get started, you can book a quick call to kick things off. We’ll chat about how you’d like to customise your favourite design, and I'll walk you through the creative process.
-
After our chat I'll put together a detailed quote for your stationery. Prices for individual elements will be listed separately, so you can see what works best for you and your budget. If you're happy with the quote, you’ll receive an invoice for your semi-custom design fee and your contract. As soon as I receive your payment and contract your place in my calendar is secure.
-
I'll send through a form to capture your wedding details, and then it’s time to bring your stationery to life. You’ll receive a first digital proof within 5 working days, and the semi-custom process includes two rounds of revisions, so there’s time for your feedback. The design process wraps up with a final artwork proof, and when you’ve approved that it’s time to print.
-
Because your stationery is printed in my Derbyshire studio, I can tailor every detail to perfection. Your paper will be trimmed, your inks mixed, and each piece of stationery will be printed one piece at a time, with the help of my antique print press and vintage foil press.
-
Once I've made sure everything looks perfect, your stationery is carefully packaged so it arrives safely. You’ll soon be holding your wedding stationery in your hands, ready to share with your guests!
At this point we’ll also schedule a start date for your on-the-day stationery, so we can do this all over again, closer to your wedding day!
Your stationery budget

When to order your wedding stationery
It’s never too early to get started
If you’ve set the date and booked your venue it’s definitely time to be talking to your stationer (and I hope that’ll be me!).
The main things to bear in mind when ordering are allowing enough time for the design process (6-8 weeks for your invitation suite, and 4-6 weeks for your on-the-day stationery), and enough time for your guests to receive and respond to their invitations.
There isn’t a right or wrong time to order your stationery, and it’s never too early, but you can use the following as a general guide:
Your save the dates – Order 8-10 months before your wedding.
Essential for destination weddings or if guests need to travel.
Your main invitation suite – Order 6-8 months before your wedding.
All of the important details (the who, where, and when).
Your on the day stationery – Order 6-8 weeks before your wedding.
And don’t forget your thank you cards!

There are two rounds of revisions included in the design process and you’ll receive digital proofs to review during the design process. You’ll also receive an artwork proof for final approval before we start printing, so you’re confident that everything is perfect.
Additional changes, beyond the two rounds included, are charged at £50 per hour, with a minimum charge of £50.
