Embossed botanical gift packaging for a luxury handmade eco-candle brand

The brief

With a busy festive season approaching, Corina was looking to brand her candle boxes and gift boxes in a way that would complement the elegant minimalism of her apothecary-inspired labels, and also reflect the sustainable ethos behind her brand.

The results 

In line with Corina’s minimalist aesthetic, I incorporated a leaf motif from her existing branding into the designs. This was embossed onto the lids of her candle boxes, adding texture and luxury, along with a subtle nod to the Ethel & Co brand. 

The leaf motif was also embossed onto belly bands and tags that made it easy to customise her gift boxes. And to align with the eco-credentials of her brand, the belly bands and gift tags were printed on FSC certified paper made from recycled coffee cups.
