Intimate and romantic: An autumnal wedding in Brontë country

Sarah and Andrew’s charming Autumn wedding was celebrated at Weavers of Haworth, nestled in the heart of Brontë country.

Weavers is a beautifully restored 19th century cottage and sits a stone’s throw from the Brontë parsonage and Haworth’s steep cobbled high street. With its heritage style and a wood burning stove perfect for gathering, it provided a perfect setting for Sarah and Andrew’s cosy, relaxed two-day celebration with their closest family and friends. Decor was simple and elegant, with lush linens, vintage ceramics, flickering candles, and dried flower posies – think simple country living with a nod to the past and a modern, elegant twist.

Drawing inspiration from the nearby moors and dales, Sarah and Andrew's layered invitation suite was designed to reflect the local landscape.The invitation, reply card, information card, and map, were uniquely shaped to create an overlapping effect when assembled. The autumnal colour palette of soft white, deep green, and hints of heather pink, echoed the surrounding flora and fauna. The entire suite was letterpress printed, with the invitation featuring an embossed heather motif that was also applied to bespoke wax seals.

With a small gathering of nine guests it was a perfect opportunity to focus on the finest details. From the welcome card that greeted guests on arrival to the menus and place cards hand-tied with twine and dried flowers, every element was carefully crafted to reflect the warmth and intimacy of this celebration of love.
