An intimate weekend wedding in the heart of the stunning Peak District

Rosie and Nate celebrated their love with their closest family and friends, hosting a cosy weekend gathering at Holly Bush Farm in Matlock.

Following an intimate ceremony in Bakewell, guests returned to the farm cottages for a relaxed reception, with the stunning Peak District as a backdrop. The celebration was packed with incredible handcrafted details, from hand-stamped cotton confetti bags and personalised banners to painted tile place cards and Nate’s bespoke wedding ring (engraved with one of Rosie’s designs). And the stunning terrazzo wedding cake, adorned with dried flowers, matched the modern romantic aesthetic perfectly.

Rosie designed a gorgeous invitation suite featuring abstract shapes and a muted natural colour palette of soft pink, warm grey, with mustard accents. While most of their stationery was digitally printed, I was delighted when Rosie approached me to print their invitations. The small and intimate size of their wedding meant we could incorporate a number of processes, so we combined die-cutting, blind debossing, letterpress, and gold foil. The die-cut arch shape and debossed abstract shapes lent a contemporary feel to the invitations, perfectly complementing the more traditional style of the letterpress and gold foil printing. 

Printing these invitations was an absolute delight, and the wedding was a deliciously artistic celebration of love and creativity.
